Hello everyone! I apologise if this is the wrong place to post, but here we go -

I am starting a breeding project with a Phantom Rosette stud and females (none are hybrids) but before investing and applying new markings, I'm curious whether you know answers to these (probably self-evident questions):

1. The forum posts here say the male needs to have Feline, Unders and Mane markings to increase odds of rosettes. Do markings like Chatoyant Feline or Lycayn Unders (Heavy or Scarce) count? Or do they have to be Feline 1, 2, etc markings as well as Soft Unders/ Tharshed Unders type of markings?

2. Can Phantom Rosette markings pass from non-hybrid parents if their markigns are in the same slot?

3. How do some people have 3 Phantom Rosette markings at the same time on their low gen males? Or like 10 rosettes on males without heritage? I'm just curious.

Thank you very much!

hi there! i don't know the answer to the first question (and as far as im aware, the feline/unders/mane markings theory is speculation anyway), but rosettes can be passed by non-hybrids. it's just that hybrids have an easier time passing their specific hybrid markings (leopons with mottled rosette, jags with phantom rose, etc).

for (3), a lot of players heritage replace their kings. when your king retires, you can choose a g1 male to succeed them (you can actually obtain these g1 male groupies right now during this event) and keep your old king's appearance. as for how they got that many rosettes in the first place, it's usually through RMAs (which have a small chance of rolling a non-hybrid rosette) and/or breeding :D

good luck !!
